Sunday 7 March 2021, marks the 45 Anniversary of the death of Prof. Seraphim M. Zarb O.P. (1899 - 1976). We are holding a lecture on Monday 8 March 2021, in St Dominic's Parish Church, Valletta at 18:45, delivered by Fr Joseph Agius O.P., "Prof. Seraphim M. Zarb O.P. and The History of the Canon of The Sacred Books of The Old and New Testament, according to S. Augustine."

Rev. Prof. Seraphim M. Zarb OP was a member of the Department of Fundamental & Dogmatic Theology within the Faculty of Theology at the University of Malta. In 1943, he was appointed Lecturer in Theology and Professor of Dogmatic Theology at the Royal University of Malta, where he taught until 1965. He served as Dean of the Faculty of Theology, acting Vice-Chancellor and acting Rector Magnificus of the University for a number of times.
