This presentation proposes a learning support system for active listening using a corpus of psychotherapy sessions and the EMOtion MOvement Observation (EMO) system, with the aim of supporting effective listening in the training of psychological clinicians and the improvement of their qualifications.
The current studies are to recognize active listening as a series of emotional events that occur throughout a psychotherapy session, and to consider ways to evaluate it. And added to a corpus with native Japanese speakers as participants, we conduct the International Comparison Experiment on Listening and construct a corpus of psychotherapy sessions on Multilingual Listening.
