Title: Webinar for prospective MSc in Signal Processing & Machine Learning students
Date: Wednesday 2 June, 2021
Venue: Remotely; via Zoom
The Department of Communications & Computer Engineering within the Faculty of Information and Communications Technology is accepting applications for the M.Sc. in Signal Processing and Machine Learning commencing October 2021.
Signal Processing deals with the extraction, manipulation and representation of data, while machine learning algorithms look for patterns in data useful in the development of predictive models in regression and classification tasks.
This degree equips you with the skills and knowledge required to design and implement these algorithms in diverse industry sectors, such as telecommunications, gaming, manufacturing, transport, healthcare and finance, working as data scientists and machine learning experts.
The course is primarily designed for graduates with a science and engineering background and gives you access to some of Malta’s leading academics in the fields of signal processing and machine learning, as well as technology experts from industry.
Please register to remotely connect to the information session, which will be held on Wednesday 2 June at 18:00 via Zoom.
In case you are not able to attend and would like more information about the course, please contact the course coordinator, Prof. Johann A. Briffa.
