Join the webinar on 17 June 2025 from 13:00 to 14:00 CET which delves into the challenges of media literacy, fact-checking and combating disinformation in Malta. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights and contribute to the conversation on the country’s digital media landscape.
The event is organised by the Mediterranean Digital Media Observatory (MedDMO) in collaboration with the Broadcasting Authority. MedDMO is an EU-funded project that brings together journalists, media literacy experts and researchers from Malta, Greece and Cyprus – as well as the AFP – working to counter disinformation. The University of Malta’s Department of Media and Communications and Times of Malta are the project’s local partners.
