Following a job shadowing visit to JC by the leadership team of Teknikum Växjö, an upper-secondary school in Sweden, the Junior College organised a reciprocate visit between 7 and 10 March 2023. 

During the visit to Teknikum Växjö, the visiting team composed of five JC lecturers had the opportunity of attending presentations and discussions about the Swedish educational system and the study programmes offered by Teknikum Växjö; to discuss the challenges facing both institutions; follow sessions in different classes; and tour the facilities at the school. 

Other meetings were held with the Municipality Head Operations Manager of all public schools and the Operations Manager for children with special needs. The team also explored the possibility of future collaboration in view of exchanging of good practices.
