The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at the University of Malta has organised its annual ERP debate as part of the Enterprise IT planning study unit, within the Department of Computer Information Systems.
The debate tackled real-world problems in Enterprise Resource Planning, with various professionals from major companies having virtual workshops with students and discussing various case studies and solutions to them.
Students who attended presented their findings and got feedback on their experience of real-world problems.
These discussions helped the students learn more about the local companies and the level of service they provide, both locally and abroad.
This year’s virtual event was hosted by the coordinator of this study unit, Dr Conrad Attard, and students Ms Emma Bricat and Mr Georgi Deyanov Petrov.
Panel experts included Mr Angelo Pickard (Computime, Project manager), Mr Colin German (CMG Consulta, Managing Director), Mr Adrian Coleiro (ISL, Operations Director), Mr Clive Scerri (Carabao, Operations Manager), Mr Etienne Buttigieg (PTL, Senior Business Application Consultant), and Mr Joseph Refalo (KPMG Microsoft Business Solution, Consultant).
