It’s been one of the busiest and most vibrant days the University has seen in a while, as first year students physically visited Msida campus and joined their peers for Freshers’ Week 2021/2022.
The celebrations kicked off with a solemn occasion, the annual Opening Ceremony, during which University Rector, Prof. Alfred J. Vella and KSU President, Mr Neil Zahra delivered speeches encouraging students to enjoy themselves and question the status quo while staying cautious and vigilant.
This was followed by an Inauguration Mass held at the University Chapel.
Then it was time for the students to head out to the Quadrangle, where the KSU Freshers’ Week 2021 kicked off with stands by university student organisations and private corporations alike giving great vibes and some freebies too.
