Dr Stefan Aquilina, who is a Theatre Studies Senior Lecturer and Director of the School of Performing Arts, has recently been appointed Editor-in-Chief of the Stanislavski Studies journal. A fully peer-reviewed journal published by Routledge, Stanislavski Studies publishes research about contemporary theatre and actor training, framed around the seminal work of Konstantin Stanislavsky and its legacy.
In Dr Aquilina’s words: ‘This is a fantastic opportunity not only to contribute markedly to international discourses about theatre and performance, but also to network and collaborate with a brilliant community of scholars and practitioners. I also see this appointment as an excellent way to draw further international attention on our School of Performing Arts and the University of Malta.’
