Meet Martin Lochman, a dedicated member of the UM Library Outreach Team and a passionate sci-fi author.

Martin takes immense pride in his work, tirelessly connecting diverse communities with the wealth of resources available at the UM Library.

Understandably, he's into reading, which is often a sedentary hobby to have, but he's also into physical fitness, so he does the best he can to keep healthy.

Through his efforts (he's been a UM employee since 2016), Martin not only promotes literacy but also fosters a sense of belonging and excitement around reading, proving that libraries are vibrant hubs of culture and community.
