Business Education student-teachers, their lecturers and guidance teachers and career advisors of a local secondary school were engaged in visits to the Commerce Division and the Malta Dairy Products Ltd. (Benna). The aim of the visits was to nourish student-teachers with practical knowhow about how to set up in business and the support that is locally provided. At the Commerce Division students have also been informed about the role of the Malta Enterprise, the VAT Department and a local bank in supporting the entrepreneur. These student-teachers would thus be in a better position to educate their learners in entrepreneurship education in the local context.
The initiative was organised by Mr Emanuel Mizzi from the Department of Technology and Entrepreneurship Education, Faculty of Education.
