The Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Giuseppe Di Giovanni, and the Editorial Board are happy to announce the sixth issue of the official Journal of the Malta Chamber of Scientists, Xjenza Online.
This Jubilee issue celebrates the 20th birthday of Xjenza, which entered the world of scientific journals with its first issue in 1996. The anniversary issue starts with a historical memoir by Prof. Angela Xuereb, the first editor-in-chief and Prof. Giuseppe Di Giovanni the current editor-in-chief.
The front cover research article in this anniversary issue is by University of Malta Rector Prof. Alfred Vella. The article is entitled 'Escalation of fireworks in Malta: environmental forensic evidence from perchlorate in dust fall.'
Xjenza Online is a peer-reviewed, open access international journal. The journal encompasses research articles, original research reports, reviews, short communications and scientific commentaries in all fields of science. Xjenza Online is essential in the scientific development of early-stage researchers in Malta, representing a learning platform on which to write and publish a scientific paper.
