B.A. in Arabic and Another Area of Study
3 years full-time
This course is recommended for those who:
- wish to learn Modern Standard Arabic from scratch
- are interested in the history and civilization of the Middle East
- plan to undertake a career in teaching, business, finance or diplomacy
- wish to understand better the origins of the Maltese language.
Certificate in Language Proficiency: Arabic
Evening Course (3 semesters) starting October 2017
This course is recommended for those who:
- wish to learn the basics of Modern Standard Arabic from scratch
- plan to undertake a career in teaching, business, finance or diplomacy
- wish to understand better the origins of the Maltese language.
B.A. in Chinese and Another Area of Study
3 years full-time
This course is recommended to those who:
- wish to learn Chinese (Mandarin) from scratch
- are interested in the history and civilization of East Asia and more particularly of China
- plan to undertake a career in teaching, business, finance or diplomacy
- wish to work in the tourist industry: Malta has become a popular destination for Chinese tourists
B.A. in Hebrew and Another Area of Study
3 years full-time
This course is recommended for those who:
- want to do something different, like learning an ancient language from scratch!
- are interested in the history and archaeology of the Holy Land
- wish to (re)discover the Bible, and learn how to read it critically
- who plan to undertake a career in academia, teaching, or tourism
- value creative and critical thinking, highly sought-after skills which open countless doors!
B.A. in Near Eastern Studies and Another Area of Study
3 years full-time
This course is recommended for those who:
- wish to learn Modern Standard Arabic and Hebrew from scratch
- are interested in the history and civilizations of the Near East
- want to discover new cultures through language, literature, and archaeology
- who plan to undertake a career in academia, teaching, tourism, business, finance, or diplomacy.
