With a shortage of 600 ICT workers just in Malta and a shortage of ONE MILLION ICT professionals in the rest of Europe, companies in Malta are investing in Artificial Intelligence to gain a cutting edge in fields such as Digital Games, Virtual Reality, Robotics, Financial Technologies, Big Data, Creative Technologies, Text Processing and Computer Vision.
Most of these areas are extremely important since they’ve been endorsed by the major political parties and have been earmarked as being the new economies, which the country will focus on, in the coming years.
