Dr Corinne Bowman, who is conducting research with the Medicines Use Research Group (MURG), Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, was selected to present her research on Domestic internet purchasing and sources of cannabis for medicinal use within different countries, at the 11th Pharmaceutical Care Network Europe (PCNE) Workshop in the Netherlands during the first week of February.
Dr Bowman was one of only 7, out of over a 100 participants from all over the world, who was chosen to discuss her ongoing work. The work was very well received and commended for its innovation and timeliness. The outcomes of this research identify significant gaps in the literature and have substantial implications for patient safety.
