Professor Sandra C. Buttigieg, Head of Department of Health Services Management, Faculty of Health Sciences, who is an elected Board member of the European Health Management Association (EHMA), presented three research studies at the annual meeting in Espoo, Finland between the 17-19th June 2019.These were: “The multi-stakeholder perspective of what affects length of stay of patients in hospital - A case study approach”, “Patient-safe and friendly-working environment, leadership support, burnout and perceived unsafe performance in value-based obstetrics healthcare delivery”, and “Visibility of information from bedside to board using hospital dashboards - A case study approach”. She also actively participated in a panel discussion titled “Value-Based Innovation in Health Care”, which was moderated by Prof. Dr. Dr. Wilfried von Eiff from the University of Muenster, Germany. The theme of the conference was “Health Management 2.0”.
