InSEA Seminar in Malta, 9-11 October, 2019
Professor Raphael Vella, Head of the Department of Arts, Open Communities and Adult Education, is convening the next Seminar for the International Society for Education through Art (InSEA) in Malta. Dealing with the theme of 'Art Education: Conflicts and Connections', the seminar is being held at MUZA in Valletta between 9 and 11 October, 2019.
Over a hundred participants from different countries are expected to arrive in Malta and present papers and workshops during the seminar. Their presentations deal with various themes, including politics, interculturalism, activism, issues-based pedagogies and collaborative work in art education.
The seminar is being held in collaboration with MUZA, APECV, InSEA European Regional Council and ArtEZ University of the Arts in the Netherlands.
