The University of Malta has recently welcomed a large number of international students, visiting the main campus in Tal-Qroqq.
Welcoming these students, at the Gateway Halls were a number of speakers, including UM's Pro-Rector Prof. Baldacchino.
Orientation sessions, which are usually spanning across four hours (per session) are held twice, at the beginning of every semester.
The aim behind these visits is to explain the various procedures at UM, introducing students to services and / or student groups available at the University, while also giving a chance for the students to meet up as one whole group at the start of their journey at UM.
Furthermore, students are given a guided tour of the Msida campus, including the numerous green open spaces, buildings and other facilities.
