This Christmas, children are being encouraged to write a letter to the elderly living alone.

Together with his team consisting of Mr Stephen Bezzina and Ms Marvic Sciberras, Prof. Alexiei Dingli is one of the collaborators who are jointly spearheading an extremely thoughtful Christmas campaign.

#postofficenanniet is a campaign encouraging children to write a letter to the elderly who are spending this Christmas alone, to help lift their spirits.

The other collaborators are the Education Ministry, the Malta Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society (MFWS), and local NGO, Nanniet Malta.

The campaign is being well-received especially against the background of the current pandemic, which also changed the dynamic in relationships and human contact has been reduced.
