The Office for Human Resources Management & Development in collaboration with the Research Support Services Directorate will be offering the following online training course for UM employees working in laboratories.
The taught part of this course will be delivered online via Zoom. The practical sessions will be held in a laboratory. In the case of the practical sessions, the current health & safety guidelines will apply. Participants will be required to wear the protective equipment for the practical sessions (including visors and proper lab attire) and will be advised of these guidelines prior to the training.

Target audience: Non-chemists working in a laboratory environment and handling chemicals as well as staff with a chemistry background wishing to refresh their memory on basic chemistry concepts.
