The Annual Science Conference organised and hosted by S-Cubed together with the Faculty of Science will this year be held on Friday 21 May 2021 from 09:00 - 11:00.
At this much-awaited event, speakers from different departments present their science projects which they have completed or are in process of completing.
Similar to last year, the conference will be held via an online webinar. This year's format is more student-friendly, with each presentation not lasting longer than 5 minutes, and being pitched at a level accessible to any student regardless of which department they come from or subject they study.
Furthermore, an incentive is being given to speakers to participate in the conference. An award will be given to the best speaker based on the delivery of the presentation to the audience. The presentations will be judged by a panel consisting of 4 to 5 people, coming from different backgrounds.
If you're a BSc, MSc or PhD level student who can present at this online conference on any science-related topic, you are kindly requested to register via this Google Form.
There is only room for 2 speakers from every department, so places are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
