Date: 26 - 28 May 2021

This May, ASTP conference will return as an online event welcoming hundreds of knowledge transfer professionals from Europe and beyond.
This year, the combination of a great price deal, Cvent’s dynamic and flexible online platform and a powerful programme, means ASTP expects to welcome more KT professionals than ever before.
In addition to our traditional individual tickets, we have developed an attractive Office Ticket offer of €1,500 for the whole office to attend. This approach is already encouraging more attendees, from all corners of the world, to join in.
On day one of the conference, ASTP welcomes participants to join the first ever European Forum. This half-day interactive meeting will be addressed by European Innovation Council (EIC), Head of Unit, Keith Sequeira who shall discuss the relevance of the EIC to universities and technology transfer. Other speakers from other European Commission directorates, such as the Joint Research Council and the DG for Research and Innovation, shall also be speaking.
On the following days, you will hear from some of knowledge transfer’s most respected minds, such as:
- Koenraad Debackere, KU Leuven, Belgium. Koenraad will deliver a keynote address on the newest challenges facing knowledge transfer as you rethink your position, role, and actions in the innovation value landscape.
- From the USA, Orin Herskowitz (Columbia), Lauren Foster (MIT), and Amy Schulman (Polaris Partners), will host a roundtable based on their experiences of how to promote university innovations to become stronger spin-outs.
