UM Wolves RFC are holding an open session for anybody who wants to give rugby a try on Thursday 8 July.
The session, under the guidance of the club’s coaching staff, is the perfect opportunity for anyone to give a new sport a shot.
The event is open to everyone – men and woman – irrelevant of whether they’ve ever even played rugby before.
It will take place at the Gudja United Football Club grounds between 20:15 and 22:00, and is completely free of charge.
All Covid-19 regulations as established by the health authorities will be observed.
Established in 2017, UM Wolves are the officially recognised rugby team representing the University of Malta with both a men’s and a women’s team – the only women’s team representing the University in any sport on the island.
It’s a club which prides itself on not only providing a space for anyone who wishes to play sports and follow an active lifestyle, but also on providing a welcoming environment which members can really call a home away from home.
All those interested in attending should fill in this form – an email will be sent out on Wednesday 7 July with all the final details for the session.
If you want to give rugby a shot, but can’t make it on Thursday – you’re more than welcome at any other club session! Just drop the club a message on Facebook!
