A Call for Scholarships for the Academic Year 2021-2022 at the Scuola dell’Arte della Medaglia has been opened for interested applicants.
The School, which has been operating for over 110 years, is intended for students interested in arts and high craftsmanship.
In the previous academic year, the number of scholarships given increased from 12 to 14.
Admission examinations, which are due to take place in October, consist of a real-life drawing test, and another test with bas-relief modelling.
The course consists of these elements as well as history of art, technology of materials and processes, restoration, and 3D modelling, direct-cut engraving and plaster mould making among many others.
