Abstract: Good dementia care is an elusive concept that has not been clearly described within hospital settings. Using appreciative interviews the aim of this qualitative study was to determine what constitutes good dementia care as perceived by hospital staff and informal carers of persons with dementia within the context of a rehabilitation hospital.
