Abstract: Il-hobz isir minn tahlita ta’ dqiq, ilma, melh u xi ghamla ta’ hmira. Ghal sekli shah il-bniedem kien jahmi hobz bnin u tajjeb fit-toghma, bla ma fehem sewwa l-process ta’ kif isir il-hobz. Furnar li ghal xi raguni jkun tilef l-ghagina tal-bierah kien isib furnar iehor siehbu u jaghtih bicca minn tieghu. Il-furnar kien jghin lil dawk li kienu jaghgnu l-ghagina d-dar u kien jaghtihom bicca mill-ghagina tal-bierah.
