Abstract: Studies on coastal dune morphology and associated vegetation were conducted over a three-year period at Berkoukech on the north-western coast of Tunisia. The results of these studies suggest that the spatial association between dunal components and floral assemblages is changing in response to dune-field reorientation. Consequently, an objective of the present study has been to establish whether the pattern of floral distribution is linked to morphological changes in the dune sequence.
