| Abstract: | Teatru Astra presents the programme of the play "Il-Qassis Li Rebah", adapted to the Maltese stage from George Scicluna's novel under the same name by Michelangel Galea, Kan. Joe Mejlak, and Mons. Salv Borg, with lyrics written by Kav. Joe M. Attard, and music composed by Prof. Joseph Vella. The play was produced and directed by George Mizzi, and featured the orchestra Banda La Stella and the Laudate Pueri Choir. The performance was held on the 29th and the 30th of October (to be viewed by Secondary School and Primary School students respectively), and on the 1st of November (for the general public), in 1998, at Teatru Astra, in Victoria, Gozo. |
