Abstract: Manoel Theatre and the Organising Committee of the National Children's Drama Festival present the programme for an event displaying the final performance of the three best plays shown in the 1970 National Children's Drama Festival: "Il-Gandlieri Tal-Monsinjur" (translated from Victor Hugo's "Les chandeliers de l'évêque" and produced by Valerie Pirotta), "Ahjar Tnejn Minn Xejn" (written and produced by Frances Attard and Carmen Bonnici), and "Ir-Ragel tal-Hadid" (produced by Donald Friggieri). The plays were performed by the students of St. George's School (Qormi), Ghaxaq Girls' School, and Lija Boys' School respectively. The performances were held on the 22nd of March, 1970, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Programme includes lists of casts of plays "Il-Gandlieri Tal-Monsinjur", "Ahjar Tnejn Minn Xejn" and "Ir-Ragel tal-Hadid" with some signatures, list of 1970 Records, list of Adjudicating Board, list of National Children's Drama Festival 1970 Organising Committee, and list of Fsobians Executive Committee 1970.
