| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and the Organising Committee of the National Children's Drama Festival present the programme for an event displaying the final performance of the three best plays shown in the 1970 National Children's Drama Festival: "Il-Gandlieri Tal-Monsinjur" (translated from Victor Hugo's "Les chandeliers de l'évêque" and produced by Valerie Pirotta), "Ahjar Tnejn Minn Xejn" (written and produced by Frances Attard and Carmen Bonnici), and "Ir-Ragel tal-Hadid" (produced by Donald Friggieri). The plays were performed by the students of St. George's School (Qormi), Ghaxaq Girls' School, and Lija Boys' School respectively. The performances were held on the 22nd of March, 1970, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
