| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and the Guild of Maltese Composers and Authors (U.K.A.M) presents the programme for a vocal and instrumental concert conducted by Mro. Joseph Sammut, and performed by the Manoel Theatre Orchestra, The Jesus of Nazareth Choir and the Oscar Lucas Quintette. The concert starred soprano singer Antoinette Miggiani, and featured the additional vocal talent of Mary Rose Mallia, Andrew Sapiano, and Enzo Gusman. The concert featured the musical works of multiple Maltese composers, including Joseph Magri, Tony Sammut, Carmelo Pace, Victor Zammit, Inez Lombardo, Angelo Pace, Joseph Abelo Scolaro and J. B. Cassar. The performance was held as part of the Malta Arts Festival 1970, on the 5th of April, 1970, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
