| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre, the Ministry of Education and Culture, and Kumitat Monument Nazzjonali Dun Mikiel Xerri present the programme for "Lejla ta' Ġieħ lil Dun Mikiel Xerri u Sħabu": an evening celebrating the life of historic figure Dun Mikiel Xerri and his friends (on the 175th anniversary of his death). The event was split into two parts, and featured Maltese music, Maltese poetry and literature, and a dramatic performance of the play "Dun Mikiel Xerri" (written by Ġino Muscat Azzopardi). The event, which was produced by Vanni Riolo, was held on the 17th of January, 1974, at Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
