| Abstract: | The Manoel Theatre Academy of Dramatic Art (M.T.A.D.A.) presents the programme for three performances done by their students: the 1-act comedy "A Phoenix Too Frequent" (written by Christopher Fry), the play "Golden Tut" (written by Francis Ebejer), and the 4-act drama "Erwieħ għall-Qiegħa" (translated to Maltese from an English translation of Maxin Gorky's "Na Dne" (The Lower Depths) by Frans Sammut). The double bill of "A Phoenix Too Frequent" and "Golden Tut" was directed by Adrian Rendle, and was held on the 24th of April, 1979. The performance of "Erwieħ għall-Qiegħa" was directed by Mario Azzopardi, and was held on the 28th and the 29th of April, 1979. All the performances were held at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
