| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and the Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Culture present the programme for an orchestral concert conducted by Joseph Sammut, led by George Spiteri (with sub-leader Joseph Galea), and performed by The Manoel Theatre Orchestra, with the participation of the Manoel Theatre Choir (instructed by Marietta Magro). The concert starred soprano singer Miriam Gauci Tabone, and bass singer Joe Vella Bondin. The concert featured the musical works of Anton Nani and Beethoven. The performance was held on the 12th of June, 1979, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
