| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre presents the programme for the 3-act tragic opera "Madama Butterfly", written by Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa, with music composed by Giacomo Puccini, and directed by Joe Fenech. The opera performance featured the Manoel Theatre Orchestra (led by George Spiteri) and the Manoel Theatre Choir, both conducted by Mro. Joseph Sammut. The performance was held on the 18th, the 20th, and the 23rd of November, 1986, at the Manoel theatre in Valletta. |
