| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre presents the programme for the 2-act melodrama "L'Elisir D'Amore", written by Felice Romani, with music composed by Gaetano Donizetti, and directed by Joe Fenech. The opera performance featured the Manoel Theatre Orchestra (led by George Spiteri) and the Manoel Theatre Choir, both conducted by Mro. Joseph Sammut. The performance also featured choreography created by Jeni Delicata, which was performed by students of the Lilian Attard Ballet Studio. The performance was held on the 10th, the 12th, and the 14th of February, 1987, at the Manoel theatre in Valletta. |
