| Abstract: | Maleth presents a souvenir anniversary booklet, created in celebration of Maleth's 40th anniversary. The anniversary booklet was likely given alongside the programme for Maleth's production "Il-Konti ta' Lussemburgo", which was also held in celebration of this achievement. The performance in question was held on the 15th, the 16th, the 20th, the 22nd and the 23rd of February, 1986, at the Manoel theatre, in Valletta. |
| Description: | Booklet includes message with photo from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Culture and Youth Hon. Dr Alex Sciberras Trigona, list of current and former members in Maleth, lists of 1-act, 2-act and 3-act play productions presented by Maleth from 1946-1985, and essay on the history of Maleth including photo's of some members of Maleth and mentions of their many productions. Booklet was found with programme for "Il-Konti ta' Lussemburgo" (no. 1067) in archival records. Booklet was likely given alongside respective programme at the time of the event. Retrieved from the Manoel theatre records. |
