| Abstract: | Prominent journalist Giovanni Bonello offers a historical analysis regarding the accurate designation of one of the grand masters. Is it La Valette or De Valette? Names are fundamentally how individuals are recognized, representing an irreplaceable aspect of their identity. Tampering with names can be seen as an attack on one's identity. It is worth noting that the head of the Order invariably refers to himself as Jean de Valette. |
