| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre, in collaboration with the British High Commission, Thomas de la Rue (Malta) Ltd., and The Janatha Stubbs Trust, presents the programme for a concert performed by the Britten Quartet. The Britten Quartet was made up of violinists Peter Manning and Keith Pascoe, violist Peter Lale, and cellist Andrew Schulman. The concert featured the musical works of Schubert, Ravel, and Beethoven. The performance was held on the 28th of May, 1991, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
| Description: | Two copies of programme included, one with performers' signatures, and the other without. Both programmes include list of members of the Britten Quartet, list of featured music including composers, essay with group photo on the Britten Quartet including their past performances and future plans, and list of acknowledgements from the Manoel Theatre Management Committee. Programme is given no. 1316 in archival records. Retrieved from the Manoel theatre records. |
