| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre, the Ministry for Youth and the Arts, and the Opera Studio, in association with the Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, present the programme for the play "Rossini alle Prime Prese Teatrali" (written by Joe Fenech), and one-act comedic opera "La Cambiale Di Matrimonio", written by Gaetano Rossi, with music composed by Gioacchino Rossini, and artistically directed by Joseph H. Fenech. The opera performance featured the Manoel Theatre Orchestra, which was conducted by John Galea, and led by George Spiteri. The performance was held on the 12th and the 15th of June, 1992, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |

John Galea, Opera Studio director Prof. Blagovesta Karnobatlova-Dobreva, producer Joe Fenech and actors Lino Attard, Tanya Parlato Trigona, Noel Galea, Yvonne Galea, Arthur Micallef, Josef Camilleri, Margarita Basnarova Attanasova, Albert Buttigieg, Simonetta Ubertuzzo Mattei and Edward Mifsud, and list of acknowledgements.
