| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and the Richmond Fellowship of Malta Foundation present the programme for the classical guitar concert "A Tribute to Segovia", performed by guitarist John Mills on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of guitarist Andrés Segovia. The concert was held in aid of the Richmond Foundation. The concert featured the musical works of Andrés Segovia, Manuel Ponce, Joaquín Turina, Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Handel, Bach, and Granados. The concert, which was sponsored by Telecell Limited, was held on the 7th of December, 1993, at Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
| Description: | Two copies of programme included, one with guitarist John Mills' signature, and the other without. Both programmes include essay with photo on guitarist John Mills, biographical essay on guitarist Andrés Segovia, list of featured music including composers, essays on the Richmond Fellowship of Malta Foundation and the need for halfway houses in Malta, and note on Telecell Ltd. sponsoring the event with information on how to donate to the Richmond Foundation.
