| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre presents the programme for a concert of Mozart's Requiem (K. 626), performed by the Amadeus Chamber Choir (led by assistant choir director Michelle Cachia Castelletti) and Orchestra (led by Tatjana De Gabriele). The concert was musically directed by Brian Cefai, and starred soloists Charmaine Cortis (soprano), Marita Bezzina (soprano), Marie Thérèse Vassallo (contralto), Andrew Sapiano (tenor), and Tony Montebello (bass). The concert also featured organist Hugo Agius Muscat. The performance was held on the 7th of June, 1996, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
