| Abstract: | Achives are usually associated with old buildings housing old official documents that are only taken out of storage when some historical researcher wants to see them. However, the role of the archivist has evolved, and digital technologies have brought new opportunities to the preservation of not just official documents but also personal memories. Futouristic spoke to Charles J. Farrugia, a National Archivist in Malta and the Head of the National Archives of Malta (NAM), about the work of NAM, notably Memorja, which is a project seeking to preserve the personal memories of Maltese citizens. |
