Abstract: This MBA thesis explores the various elements that affect employee productivity within five-star hotels in Malta. The research aims to identify hotel, job, and employee-related factors that have the greatest impact on productivity. It also investigates the productivity initiatives implemented by these hotels and how they have managed productivity during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study uses a mixed-methods approach, combining questionnaires with hotel employees and interviews with Human Resource managers. [excerpt]
