| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre presents the programme for a concert, musically directed by Brian Cefai, and held in honour of the participants of the 7th Conference of European Ministers Responsible for Social Security. The concert was performed by the Amadeus Chamber Choir, the Quatuor Parisii, and musicians Simon Schembri (guitar), Philippe Bernold (flute), and Christine Icart (harp). The participating quartet, the Quatuor Parisii, were made up of violinists Thierry Brodard and Jean-Michel Berrette, violist Dominique Lobet, and cellist Jean-Philippe Martignoni. The concert featured the musical works of Carmelo Pace, Giuliani, Piazzolla, Boccherini, and Rossini. The performance was held on the 12th of May, 1998, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
