| Abstract: | This handwritten field notebook documents botanical excursions between 1908 and 1917 across Malta, Gozo, and Comino including Verdala, Boschetto, Sliema, Fomm ir-Riħ, Baħrija, Wardija, Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq, Mellieħa, St. Paul’s Bay, and across Comino and Gozo (e.g., Xlendi, Mġarr, Ramla, Marsalforn). Contains dated entries of flora observed in specific localities, with scientific plant names listed, including Medicago minima, Serapias parviflora, and Crupina vulgaris. Includes two inserted handwritten notes. The notebook reflects early systematic botanical survey efforts in the Maltese Islands. |
