| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and Talenti presents the programme for the new and original Maltese 2-act play "L-Imġarrab", written and artistically directed by Żep Camilleri, and featuring Mario Micallef, who interpreted most of the characters in the play. The performance also featured actors Nathalie Micallef and Dorriane Ruffini. The performance featured choreography created by Felix Busuttil, which was performed by Y.A.D.A. dancer Nicki Sultana. The performance was held on the 17th and the 18th of April, 1999, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. The performance was also held on the 19th of October. |
| Description: | Two copies of regular programme included, one with performers'/crews' signatures, and the other without. An additional leaflet version of programme is also included. Both regular programmes include author's note written by author Żep Camilleri with his photo, notes on characters in each scene of the play, list of cast, list of crew from Talenti, list of crew from Manoel Theatre, note of acknowledgements from Talenti, and note reporting on a discussion with the Minister of Social Policy on child abuse with child abuse statistics. The leaflet programme includes author's note written by author Żep Camilleri with his photo and signature, photos of Mario Micallef's various characters, photos of crew members Fabian Mizzi, Marika Mizzi, Marco Bartolo and Connie Schembri, group photo of crew members, list of crew from Talenti, list of crew from Manoel Theatre, photos of actors Nathalie Micallef and Dorriane Ruffini, and note reporting on a discussion with the Minister of Social Policy on child abuse with child abuse statistics. Programme is given no. 1791 in archival records. Programme is also given no. 1815 in archival records in reference to the production held on 19th October. Retrieved from the Manoel theatre records. |
