Abstract: Manoel Theatre, in association with British Airways and Le Meridien Phoenicia, presents the programme for the concert "In Her Own Voice", performed by pianists Natasha Chircop and Maxwell Spiers, violinist Tatjana Chircop, cellist Valeriu Popovici, and flautist Rebecca Hall. This celebration of Women composers was held as part of the Manoel Theatre's "Music and More" concert series. The concert featured the musical works of Fanny Mendelssohn, Clara Schumann, Barbara Pentland, and Cécile Chaminade. The performance was held on the 9th of March, 2000, at Sala Isouard, in the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Programme includes list of featured performers, list of featured music including composers, note advertising forthcoming Music and More concert "April in Paris" to be performed by oboist John McDonough, clarinettist Godfrey Mifsud, bassoonist Mario Micallef and pianist Lucia Micallef in April, notes on pianist Natasha Chircop, violinist Tatjana Chircop, cellist Valeriu Popovici, flautist Rebecca Hall and pianist Max Spiers, and short note of acknowledgement to the Canadian Music Centre.
