| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and the organising committee for the Convention of Leaders of Associations of Maltese Abroad and of Maltese Origin present the programme for a Soirée performed by the Manoel Theatre on Tour (Brass and Vocal Ensembles), and the Cantores Sancti Juliani. The event featured the musical works of Charles Camilleri, Carmelo Pace, Mancini, Suppé, Tosti, Bellini, Durante, Mozart, Mascagni, and Verdi. The event also featured a talk titled "Ir-rabtiet ma' l-art li nisslitna", given by Prof. Oliver Friggieri. The event was held on the occasion of the Convention of Leaders of Associations of Maltese Abroad and of Maltese Origin. The performance was held on the 25th of January, 2000, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
