Abstract: Manoel Theatre and the Canadian High Commission to Malta present the invitation for the occasion "The Canada Days and Nights of Malta", featuring the programme for the performance items "Mattinata" (performed by tenor Victor Micallef, violinist Simon Vella, and guitarist Ranieri Sessa), and "The Blues in the Night" (performed by jazz singer Diana Nalini, pianist Martin Pickett, bassist Bernard Scerri and drummer Charles Gatt). The event featured the musical works of Johnny Mercer, Leoncavallo, Tosti, Rossini, Verdi, Bach, Puccini, and Gershwin. The performance was held on the 14th of March, 2002, at Sala Isouard, in the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Programme was also an invitation document which was valid for two people at the time of the event. Programme includes list of featured music including composers and featured performers, and list of logos of sponsors. The programme also includes separate papers (possibly given at the time of the performance) with essay on tenor singer Victor Micallef, and essay with photos on jazz singers Diane Nalini.
