| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and the Stradiviolin Studio present the programme for the recital "Music from the Soul", organised by James Grech, and performed by cellist Alexander Rudin and pianist Sergei Glavatskih. The recital featured the musical works of Beethoven, Chopin, and Poulenc. The performance was held on the 9th of April, 2002, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
| Description: | Two copies of programme included, one with handwritten messages and signatures of cellist Alexander Rudin and pianist Sergei Glavatskih, and the other without. Both programmes include index, message from organiser James Grech including his photo and signature, essay with related pictures on the Specialised Violin School the Stradiviolin Studio with their contact information, notes on instruments designed by Antonio Stradivari, Domenico Montagnana and Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesù, note advertising the 1st National Violin Competition to be held in October 2002, note advertising the musical Gala dinner "World of Classics" to be performed by violinist James Grech, pianist Alexei Galea and cellist Valeriu Popovici in May, notes with photos on cellist Alexander Rudin and pianist Sergei Glavatskih, list of featured music including composers, composer's biographies and pictures and music descriptions, note with photo on the history of the Manoel Theatre, note advertising the painting "The Cello Player" made by Stradiviolin Studio artist Denise Muscat, list of acknowledgements, note related to "Music and the Soul" written by organiser James Grech, note advertising forthcoming Stradiviolin Studio events "The Magic Violin" and a painting exhibition to be held in December at the Manoel Theatre, list of additional crew, and list of special thanks.
