| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and the Istituto Italiano di Cultura present the programme for the concert "Sax by Candlelight", performed by the Quartetto di Sassafoni Accademia. The Quartetto di Sassafoni Accademia was made up of saxophonists Gaetano di Bacco (soprano sax), Enzo Filipetti (alto sax), Giuseppe Berardini (tenor sax), and Fabrizio Paoletti (baritone sax). The concert featured the musical works of Thelonious Monk, Rossini, Iturralde, and Piazzolla. The performance was held on the 18th of July, 2002, at Fort St. Angelo, in Vittoriosa (Malta). |
